Dr. Jason Lee
Dr. Lee grew up in New Jersey and received his undergraduate degree in finance from University of Pennsylvania. He worked in New York City as a financial analyst for several years before his love for animals and desire to help people ultimately steered him to a career in veterinary medicine. He graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School (where he was classmates with Dr. De La Paz) in 2006 with multiple accolades in internal medicine, companion animal medicine, and ophthalmology, as well as being inducted into the Phi Zeta Honor Society for academic achievement. Afterwards, he elected to undergo additional advanced training through a rigorous internship at Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego (www.vshsd.com). There, he worked closely with board-certified specialists in numerous fields, gaining valuable experience in complex medical and surgical cases. After the internship, he worked as a small animal veterinarian in Orange County for several years before acquiring Corona Animal Hospital in 2010. In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, serving on his church praise team, rooting for Philadelphia and Ohio State sports teams, and attempting to hit a golf ball consistently.
Dr. Kristin De La Paz
Dr. Kristin De La Paz knew at a very young age that veterinary medicine was the career path for her. Born and raised in southern California, Dr. De La Paz completed her undergraduate degree at UC Davis before returning to the Inland Empire. She worked as a substitute teacher while putting herself through the Masters of Science Program at CalPoly Pomona, only to return to UC Davis for veterinary school in 2002. Dr. De La Paz completed a grueling internship in the bay area of northern California following her graduation, and was fortunate enough to work alongside specialists in every facet of veterinary medicine. She later moved back to the southern California she knew and loved and has worked in both Orange County and the Chino area over the last several years. Dr. De La Paz prides herself on thorough communication and education with her clients, and enjoys working with pocket pets as well as her canine and feline patients. Outside of work, Dr De La Paz is an avid baker and devotes much of her time to her husband and close family, her three dogs, as well as her pack of kitties.
